Has anyone seen a fat person on any of those TV diet adds? Heck, if I were as slim as they, I'd be thinking maybe I should put on a couple of pounds or so. Or have you seen the about a woman who is playing tea party with her daughter and because the toy chair was too tight, she immediately went to the cupboard and pulled down that perfect cereal for a little weight loss aid. Like magic the chair fit. What you don't see is that she became anorexic and soon went in for treatment. Lets get real.
I was a great hunk in my twenties, then my body began to show sings of weight gain. I missed the signs and paid a real high price for it. Yes I dieted and fasted and exercised and on and on, guess what? I could not drop the weight.
Oh I finally got down to my bad old self but I was on a feeding tube for six months. As soon as I got off, I blimp-ed up like the Pillsbury dough boy over fed a yeast breakfast. I was disappointed and had to accept that I am not totally in charge as I had thought.

String Along
When it comes to multi-dimensional thinking a mind must suspend its sense of boundaries and enjoy its limitless potentialities.
Many discoveries come from those whom ask what if or is it possible or, if this then that. Ambiguous? Yep! However we are not asking from the same mind place. Our minds are flat footed here and theirs are soaring among uncharted wheres and when's. Imagine that.
Not all flights of fancy are filled with imaginary and bucolic visions, no, some contain hard facts that have yet to be brought into the current stream of knowledge. i.e. Einstein's train or elevator ride imaging. Science is still testing various parts.
As children we travel many unexplained and wonderful places. Our mothers or fathers will give us an indifferent "oh, that's nice" when told about them, or a shocked "you better learn to keep your feet on the ground".
I have been to many places in this universe, and have known about things on levels I would never have suspected. Even today I have knowledge that goes far beyond my education. I have learned to be grateful and not to take myself to seriously. Why? I don't have a clue, other than a great deal of speculation and conjecture, which I will not boar you with.
I still find myself at 62 taking those fantasy trips from way back when. They're a bit more sophisticated but just as much fun. Care to join me? Well hop aboard. See y'all when I'm back this way.

Illusion or Free Will
I was considering writhing about righteousness and free will but realize I have no clue what righteousness is. So here I am attempting free will. It seems an oxymoron in my way of thinking. Just a weak example, Jesus asking the father to take this cup from him, but not as I will but as thee will oh Lord.
Everything Jesus did was preordained. He had the ability to recognize his agreed upon mission when he was born. We haven’t a clue about our preordained purposes we agreed upon before we arrived. Maybe only a minute few, may.
However putting the question of pre-destination or fate aside for now, lets look about our daily lives. T.V.. Radio and other media, are constantly and consistently bombarding every moment with ads to try this, do that, save here, spend a little more, see our beaches, on and on……..
Do we really need the latest phone or the most advanced GPS or the most recent gas guzzler? Is my church really better than yours? Is my god the only way to heaven or is there really only one god.
If I miss a day of school why are my parents put under suspicion for truancy? Hasn't truancy been around since routines were invented?
The more I see, the more I realize that free will is another myth, unless you're absolutely alone and are completely self sufficient.

Cellulites
For those of you who are similar of bent, I recently went through the newspaper looking for a picture of Cellulites and maybe an ad or two about it. Didn't find a single ad or picture.
This must sound pretty dumb because to tell the truth I have never actually seen one. I figure they are pretty small and would be helpful in emergencies. I want to put several in my glove compartment and maybe a few in the ole work shop in case the lights should go off.
Perhaps it isn't something to be used the way I have planned. Cellulite could be a room, like a photo darkroom or small utility room? In that case it propably would only come with a house, large flat or loft?
The other posibility that occured to me is its' a new beverage of some sort, like a green tea or some kind of flavored water. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Though I've heard about Cellulite for some time now, maybe, the hoopla is just pre-release hype?
Hmmmm....

Extinct and Still Going Strong
I figure a person doesn‘t give death much thought, after all, it is a taboo topic in this country unless someone close or known to a person passes on. It’s especially tragic if its unexpected or if it is someone quite young, then we might grieve for a few days but our lives must go on.
Although the title is tongue ‘n’ cheek, the idea of extinction is fast becoming a household word. Unfortunately it is not the kind of word one should become comfortable with. Other such words are endangered and threatened. It has become very difficult to avoid some reference of these words in the newspapers or TV. It is most distressing to hear another species is threatened, endangered or officially extinct.
I always believed the animals of this world would be around long after the homo-sapiens blew themselves to hell and gone. And I am especially amazed how the government(s) accepts the safety and/or scientific reports from industries applying for usage, drilling permits or proof that the proposed product is safe and non-harmful to wild life or human beings.
You would think that after the smoking industries fiasco about cigarettes not being cancerous, governments would wizen up. Perhaps their checkbooks are linked to wisdom somehow? One can only wonder.
If there were large sums of income potential from saving a specie the news would surely look different.
Today the Big Corporations of Time is Money Inc., announced their plans to save the not quite threatened mosquito larvae, as research has shown, it has a growth potential unlike anything before seen in the industry. More news to follow.

Things Thought About
Growing up we happened upon pearls of wisdom from older more experienced people. Whether listened to and remembered really depended on our state of mind at the time. Lets face it, kids are not always paying attention to what is said, so much as whom and how it is said, and then only if it seems interesting at the time.
It is a certainty that we overlooked the best that life had to offer, as we scurried along. Perhaps this is a tired cliché from another old man. Older people often said things like: “Its no fun being old.” Or “Pay attention kid, this is what you have to look forward too.” And, “My body feels old but I still feel like I’m eighteen in my mind.”
Because of our youth, understanding was fleeting at best and rarely grasped. Its unfortunate that many of the expressions we may have had shared with us, seemed more rueful than happy or joyful. That is a most unfortunate recollection.
Perhaps like childhood, when we were busy making our imaginary place in the world, our adulthood is spent busily earning a living. And we miss the “real” purpose behind life in our rush to get to a mythical somewhere else. Is it not a sad thing to discover that maybe it was the memories that were important.

What If
What if...
the rain Gently fell everyday?
the sun could only warm us to 72?
greed & hate suddenly disappeared?
everyone asked what if we all loved each other and shared our bounty?
Christ came knocking at the door for a meal or some cash?
we all agreed that there is only one god and everyone is choosen?
all the weapons (including privately owned) vanished?
we didn't have too ask what if?

How is this for a word...
"RE..CLUES..IVE" yes, reclusive? It is sounds like a very satisfying afternoon or weekend. No phones, faxes, tv's, or radios. Only the whispering of trees and the singing of birds with the wind gently conducting.
Its easy to be unappreciative or thoughtless. Its almost an inborne trait for the species survival. The circuit it seems, has shorted. We grow learning to be competetive, pushsy as needed, even ruthless.
With GOD we trust on our money and avarice in our hearts we bow before the false god of wealth and power so we too can tell our like minded friends and neighbors how well we have done as we are leaving the church, our time for this week put in, an hour of prayer, a verbose sermon on sin and a short lived dose of guilt.
Hearts without the desire to gather treasures on earth are unfortunately rare and also unfortunately a threat to those whom cannot buy, intimidate or impress this type of person.
This world can be funny. If you really overtly Love God, you become accused of being a Christ imitator or a zelot of dangerous proportions. Whatever you are labled you become ex-clu-ed and are not easily welcomed anywhere.
It's a familiar story and has been passed down for at least two millenia and as we bypeds are famous for being slow at change the sad story will continue long after everyone alive on earth today has gone.
I don't go to chuch! In part because it is uninspiring and because I like to be able to speak in silence to the Lord.
I'm a freak but.... you know.
